Birkenstocks are officially a thing and I just caught wind of it while browsing through this WhoWhatWear article.
I'm fully pro grunge revival, but I'm not really sure how I feel about these as a fashionable endeavor. However, I will guarantee that you will make that family member who's been rocking them for decades feel as if they knew what was "in" all along. You know the feeling - we all have this relative.
Just because I don't dig them doesn't mean you shouldn't. Dabble in Birkenstocks if you want a nostalgic sense of comfort.
