Black and Summer seems like a very unlikely combination. However, I can't help but feel Summer ready when mixing an aztec print, a turban and white converse. These jeans feel so Mara Hoffman to me that subconsciously they screamed, "I'm Summer appropriate" even if the weather calls for shorts. I'm also seriously obsessed with pairing these sneakers with basically everything and while I had a no-all-white-sneakers rule for the boyfriend (I really dislike this one pair he has), I practically justify styling these with everything - because they are so caaaute.
Turbans are yet another fave in my book and a great way to add more frills to a laid back look. I wore this outfit to hang out Saturday during the day and decided to shoot a part 2 to this post where I show how to conveniently take this outfit from laid back to a dressier daytime or nighttime look.
