Oftentimes, friends ask why it is I enjoy having a blog and while loving fashion and style are the obvious reasons to why I do so, the main ones lie within being able to inspire and empower women. I really could not think of a better way to do so than by coming together in such a heartfelt campaign with 30 plus of South Florida's fashion and beauty bloggers to portray a message of confidence, hope and support for a cause so delicate and dear to us all.
My homegirl Annie - The Fashion Poet, brought us all together for the second annual Fashion for a Cause campaign shot by photographer Alexander Tamargo over a two day period at the Sagamore Hotel. This year the Fashion for a Cause Campaign teamed up with Miami brand Peace Love World as we modeled their breast cancer collection which will donate a proceed of their sales to raising funds for breast cancer.
Check out or campaign pics on display at Bloomingdales in Aventura Mall and The Falls Shopping Center till the end of the month - where you can also buy these Peace Love World items and help donate to the cause. And, join us on October 17 from 6 - 9PM at our Fashion for a Cause Campaign event titled "Bloomies and Bloggers" where runway models and bloggers will hit the catwalk in Peace Love World and the department store's Fall collections. As well as a hair styling station by So Blo, cupcakes by BunnieCakes, Societe Perrier & More.
Oh yea, and if my Fresh Prince of Bel Air inspired cap styling motivates you to shop these breast cancer items, well then my job is done.
